Readmission/Reinstatement

The decision to readmit/reinstate is determined by the Healthcare Informatics program chair or the Dean of the Health Sciences, Education and Wellness Institute. Submitting an application does not guarantee automatic readmission into the program. If you have questions regarding the readmission/reinstatement process, please contact the HCI program office at hci@bellevuecollege.edu.

Students returning from an approved leave of absence or were approved to defer their program admission for up to two quarters may apply for Healthcare Informatics Readmission.

If it has been more than two consecutive quarters, you will need to re-apply for admission to the program in order to continue. You will be required to meet the eligibility requirements in place for the most current application and supply new supporting materials. You will be charged the most current application fee and be placed on the most up to date degree worksheet.

Students who were previously dismissed from the Healthcare Informatics program, may seek reinstatement in order to continue in the program after one full academic quarter. You will need to complete the Healthcare Informatics Reinstatement application and submit supplemental materials.

If it has been more than four consecutive quarters, you will need to re-apply for admission to the program in order to continue. You will be required to meet the eligibility requirements in place for the most current application and supply new supporting materials. You will be charged the most current application fee and be placed on the most up to date degree worksheet.

If it has been more than four consecutive quarters since you last enrolled in any class at Bellevue College, you will also need to reapply for general admission.
