For 14 years, Justin Taft dedicated his career to creating thriving community spaces by owning and operating cafes in the vibrant Seattle area. In 2022, he obtained his Bachelor of Applied Science in Health Promotion and Education from Bellevue College, showcasing his commitment to personal and community well-being. After selling his last caf\u00e9, the Hangar Caf\u00e9, Justin transitioned into impactful roles as a community educator for Fred Hutch Cancer Research in the Vaccine Trials Unit and as a critical contributor to the ALS Association in their development efforts. Driven by a genuine passion for education, Justin furthered his academic achievements by earning a Master’s in Education in 2024. Currently, he’s serving as the Director of Operations for the Brain Injury Alliance of Washington. Justin is excited to make a lasting impact in his new role as an adjunct professor at Bellevue College.
