Hi there!\u00a0 I am a full-time Communication Studies faculty member at Bellevue College.\u00a0 I worked in the nonprofit sector and taught at Green River Community College before teaching at Bellevue College.\u00a0 I\u2019ve been at BC since 2007 as an adjunct instructor and became a full-time faculty member in 2013.\u00a0 I have the pleasure of teaching a variety of courses at BC:\u00a0 Introduction to Communication, Interpersonal, Intercultural, Small Group, and Public Speaking as well as the Communication courses in the Interior Design and Radiology and Imaging Sciences BAS Programs.\u00a0 I love teaching at the community college level because I can interact a great deal with my students and learn new things from them in class nearly every day.\u00a0 My research interests include how gender, culture, and the media influence our interpersonal relationships as well as the examination of narrative theory about culture and health communication.<\/p>\n
