Tuition and fee rates are set by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) which acts upon legislative authority. Please note that all tuition and fee rates are subject to change by the Board of Trustees and/or the Washington State Legislature. Some fees are non-refundable.
Tuition and fees refer to the cost of general tuition per credit, college fees and fees associated with the Radiation and Imaging Sciences program. The program includes a mixture of lower division courses and upper level courses. Lower division courses numbered 200 and below will be charged tuition at the resident community college tuition rate. Upper division courses numbered 300 and above will be charged at the bachelor’s program rate. The Radiation and Imaging Sciences program is currently a State-Support degree.
General BC Admission Fee
A nonrefundable fee of $34 is required to apply for admission to Bellevue College. Students who are returning to Bellevue College after 4 or more quarters will need to re-apply for general admission.
BAS Program Application Fee
A nonrefundable fee of $90.00 is required to apply to the program. In addition to processing the application, the fee covers a personal assessment by the program chair of your prior educational record and preparation of a detailed education plan to meet your goals.
Background checks are required for Bellevue College students pursuing educational programs in healthcare. The Radiation and Imaging Sciences program currently utilizes CastleBranch to collect and review completion of a mandatory background check which includes the following components:
- Statewide Criminal WA
- Nationwide Healthcare Fraud and Abuse Scan
- Social Security Alert
- Residency History
There is a fee associated with this requirement of approximately $65.
Students pursuing the bachelor of applied science (BAS) degree who are eligible for financial aid will be able to apply for federal, state and institutional grant funds, such as the Pell Grant, WA State Need Grant, Bellevue College-sponsored grant, federal student loan, or work study. To determine whether you are eligible for financial aid you will need to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. Many employers offer tuition reimbursement for education that is related to an employee’s work. Please check with your human resources department to see if you are eligible.
