Bellevue College offers a variety of academic options to meet students\u2019 goals related to medical imaging. We offer entry-level associate degrees in radiologic technology, diagnostic ultrasound, and nuclear medicine technology. The Radiation and Imaging Sciences program provides pathways for credentialed imaging professionals to earn advanced credentials and applied bachelor\u2019s degrees. The entire process is outlined below and is described in the program\u2019s virtual information session<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Step 1: Associates Degree<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Step 2: National Certification Exam<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Upon successful completion of your Associate Degree program, you\u2019ll be eligible to take a national certification exam. Each imaging field has a specific certifying board and requirements. This step is the key to being able to work in the field and to advance to specialized imaging modalities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Step 3: Advanced Certifications<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bellevue College offers several Baccalaureate Certificates for credentialed imaging professionals. These advanced certificates prepare imaging professionals to sit for national exams in post-primary modalities. Students will meet the structured education requirement for the post-primary exam and will have the option to complete a clinical practicum to achieve the required competencies. Step 4: Bachelors Degree Completion<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bellevue College offers several Bachelors of Applied Science degree options for credentialed imaging professionals. These degree completion options are designed to prepare professionals for advanced modality exams as well as management positions and advanced degrees.
