Step 1: Associates Degree<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students looking to enter an imaging must first complete an Associates Degree program. Bellevue College offers numerous associates degrees in several different imaging fields. Upon successful completion of your Associates Degree program, you\u2019ll be eligible to apply to take the national certification exams through your imaging programs certifying board. Each imaging field has a specific certifying board and requirements. <\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Bellevue College offers several Advanced Certificates for current registered imaging professionals. These Advanced Certificates prepare imaging professionals to sit for the national exams in a post primary modality. Students will meet the structured education requirement as well as have the option to complete a clinical practicum to achieve the required required competencies. Bellevue College offers several Bachelors of Applied Science degree options for current registered imaging professionals. These degree completion options are designed to prepare professionals for advanced modality exams as well as management positions seeking imaging professionals with advanced degrees. These degree completion is called a 2+2 model meaning you come in with a 2 year degree (from any regionally accredited institution) and complete your last 2 years at Bellevue College to earn your 4 year Bachelors degree!
