Clinical Practicum<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Clinical experience is one of the key components of the radiation profession. The Health Science Wellness an Education Institute (HSEWI) at Bellevue College works closely with community partners to arrange clinical sites that are well respected by the imaging community. The clinical practicum course provides students with the opportunity to develop required competencies although additional work experience may be required to complete the number of competencies required by the ARRT to be eligible for the national certification exams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As a student, you will receive an education plan tailored to your interests, prior coursework, and schedule, while ensuring all degree requirements for your program are met. This plan serves as the framework for your time in the program and is designed to help you progress efficiently toward graduation. It is important that you follow your education plan exactly, as deviating from the plan may result in an extended graduation timeline because courses are not offered every quarter. Any proposed changes must be discussed with and approved by your Program Manager or Program Chair before being implemented. As you move through the program, we encourage you to check in periodically with the Program Manager to review your education plan and ensure you remain on track. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Permission Numbers<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In many cases, students admitted to the program are able to register for courses without a permission number while some courses may still require a permission number for enrollment. Current radiation and medical imaging professionals, as well as imaging students, may enroll in select courses without formal admission to the program, provided space is available. Registration<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Students are encouraged to register early to avoid waitlists and late registration issues. Registering as early as possible increases your chances of securing a seat in your desired courses. Please note that seats in general education courses, such as ENGL\u00a0201 or BUS&\u00a0101, cannot be guaranteed by the program. Be sure to review all special registration and payment deadlines each quarter. The program will send a registration email at the start of each registration period with detailed instructions and important information to assist you with the process. Tuition & Fees<\/a><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Bellevue College offers affordable tuition rates at all levels. Tuition and fee rates are set by the Washington State Board for Community and Technical Colleges (SBCTC) which acts upon legislative authority.
