It does&nbsp;<strong>not<\/strong>&nbsp;allow off-campus work, except in limited situations that are usually related to your studies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>*** Please be advised that working off-campus without authorization is illegal. ***<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Curricular Practical Training (CPT) Update for F\u20111 Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ice.gov\/sevis\">Student and Exchange Visitor Program<\/a> (SEVP) recently released new guidance about Curricular Practical Training (CPT). These updates may affect internship planning for F\u20111 students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">International Education (IE) is working closely with Bellevue College leadership and the Assistant Attorney General (AAG) while awaiting further clarification. In the meantime:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol start=\"1\" class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Required internships or practicums:<\/strong> CPT will only be approved for programs where an internship or practicum is required for <em>all<\/em> students to graduate. All standard CPT eligibility requirements still apply.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Capstone or internship pathways:<\/strong> For programs offering a choice between a capstone and an internship, F-1 students must complete the capstone option during this pause.
