The IT Security Office develops, implements, and oversees security policies, procedures, and controls to protect sensitive information from cyber threats and breaches. It also protects user&#8217;s privacy and conducts regular audits and assessments to ensure compliance with industry and governmental regulations and standards applicable, such as PCI DSS, Washington State Technology Solutions (WaTech), GLBA, FERPA, and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to managing risk and maintaining data integrity, IT Security office educates employees on best practices for information security and fosters a culture of vigilance and responsibility.
