Course Maps do not display all course options and sequences, so it is recommended to meet with an advisor to create an individualized education plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n BAS students are required to create an Education Plan<\/strong> and have it approved by their advisor before they start their first quarter in the BAS program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n An Education Plan<\/strong> is an Excel document that maps out your required courses quarter by quarter. An Education Plan helps stay you on track, avoid graduation delays, and prevent registration issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n BAS program classes move in a sequence and some classes are only offered once or twice per year. If you miss a sequenced class, your graduation may be delayed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Students working with other departments on campus (Financial Aid, International, Veteran\u2019s, Workforce, etc.) must also share their finalized plan with that department for approval.<\/p>\n\n\n\n <\/p>\n\n\n\n Students can check their degree progress at anytime in ctcLink using the \u201cWhat If Report\u201d tool. When setting up the report, under “Catalog Year”, be ensure to choose your quarter of BAS admission <\/strong>from the drop down menu. Check your BC email for your BAS admission letter if you are unsure which quarter you were admitted (for example, Fall 2024). It is important for students to check your progress on a quarterly basis to ensure you are on track to graduate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n All BAS students will complete Capstone classes.
