Welcome to Bellevue College and to the Multicultural Services’ Post-Prison Program. You deserve an education and to be treated with dignity and respect. The Multicultural Services’ Post-Prison Program was established to help formerly incarcerated persons transition successfully into college.  The MCS Post Prison Program provides supportive guidance as you enter Bellevue College, make progress through your academic journey, and successfully exit into the labor force or further your education.

We know and understand the challenges of a navigating new environment. We want you to know that you are not alone and that you have MCS staff to provide step-by-step guidance and navigation at Bellevue College.  We provide holistic, non-judgmental support connecting you to essential services for your success to help you transition into your academic program and the BC campus community.

We provide pre- and post-release assistance. Once you connect with our MCS Post Prison Program, you will receive entry application guidance, college system orientation and navigation, financial aid coaching, academic program exploration, career exploration, class registration, mentoring, and intentional referral to other support services and resources on campus and in the community.  We provide a supportive environment and build community for your academic, personal and professional success at BC and beyond.
