Students will explore atmospheric processes by working hands-on with real-world weather and climate data in the weekly labs.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">METR 101: Introduction to the Weather (non-lab)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A general, non-math introduction to the study of weather, including atmospheric properties and processes that control temperature, wind, precipitation, and storm systems. Students also discuss weather forecasting, air pollution, and climate change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Note: Either METR 101 or METR 102 may be taken for credit, not both.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<section class=\"content-padding nav-page nav-page-list\">\n\t\t\t<article class=\"post-36 page type-page status-publish hentry\">\n\t\t\t<h2 class=\"post-36 page type-page status-publish hentry\">\n\t\t\t\t<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/meteorology\/courses\/annual-schedule\/\">Annual Course Schedule<\/a>\n\t\t\t<\/h2>\n\n\t\t\t<div class=\"media\">\n\t\t\t\t\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"media-body\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"media-content content-padding\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>Meteorology 101 (non-lab) or Meteorology 102 (with lab) is offered each quarter throughout the year. The course offerings vary so students can take a lab or non-lab version of this course. The lab version is typically in-person and the non-lab varies between in-person and online formats.
