A degree in Molecular Biosciences can launch a career in biomedical research, forensics, pharmaceutics, or even food science. It can also provide a pathway to apply to medical, dental, or pharmacy school. The possibilities are endless.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Students in the MBS program benefit from small classes and one-on-one advising with faculty who have firsthand experience in the academics and industry. I was just blown away at what I could do. I was in classrooms with 15 people and a professor with a Ph.D. and had so many opportunities to work with equipment and to do experiments. I am thankful for the recommendation letters, proofreading of my personal statement, mock interviews, and office hours. Thank you for supporting us students from the beginning and even after graduation. During a STEM to STERN lecture, I remember hearing, &#8216;At Bellevue College, you&#8217;re a person, not another student number.'&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/div><figure class=\"wp-block-media-text__media\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"241\" height=\"283\" src=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/408\/2024\/08\/NhuY-1.jpg\" alt=\"Nhu-y Do\" class=\"wp-image-1457 size-full img-fluid \" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where Are Our Graduates Now?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Some MBS graduates are attending Medical School or PhD programs at Washington State University and University of Washington.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some of our graduates are pursuing master&#8217;s in various fields such as Food Science, Genomics, and Bioinformatics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have several students working at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the University of Washington, and Pfizer. Others are working at Bloodworks Northwest, Global Health Labs, Seattle Children&#8217;s Research Institute, Seattle Institute for Biomedical and Clinical Research, Center for Emerging and Re-Emerging Infectious Diseases (CERID), and smaller companies like Adaptive Biotechnologies and Ora Biomedical.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>They have titles such as research scientist, research technician, clinical lab technologist, medical laboratory technologist, and clinical research assistant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Opportunities for Molecular Biosciences Students<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div
