In addition she developed and teaches the MBS course on bioethics. She was previously the Director of the Science and Math Institute for a decade, the outreach office for Bellevue College&#8217;s Science Division. Before coming to work in higher ed, Jenn worked in the education arm of the Northwest Association for Biomedical Research, a nonprofit that, among other things, developed curriculum for high schools on bioethics. Jenn received her Ph.D. in molecular biology from the University of Washington; her graduate work focused on finding genetic targets for tuberculosis drug therapies. Never bored, Jenn is engaged with diversity work at the college and helped organize the first March for Science Seattle.
