Biography:

Megan Moreau was born in Seattle, Washington. Growing up, she participated in honor choirs and was the only sophomore girl admitted into the top choral group at Inglemoor High School. She started writing songs at age 14 and has continued as a singer and songwriter of piano pop into her adult career. Since her junior year of high school she has sung in state recognized a capella jazz groups, was a member of Bellevue College’s vocal jazz group, Celebration, for three years and still sings in a professional vocal jazz group, Last Call. Through these groups, Megan has performed in nation-wide choral and jazz conferences from California to Florida.

Megan has 8 years of piano and vocal training, studied music at Bellevue College and has two decades of performing experience. She is still an active performer all over the greater Seattle area in the genre of pop and jazz artist. She has musical theater experience as well as experience in the Seattle rock scene with her band, Amsterdam, who’s EP, Burn The Night, was released in 2014. Amsterdam has done two west coast tours. Her solo single, Life’s What You Make It, was released in 2016 and can be found on iTunes. Her teaching centers around technique and performance, giving singers the tools they need to become more confident and reach their full potential.
