(There are pianos) \u2013 It is recommended that you warm up at least 15 minutes prior to your performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please bring 4 copies of your music. You may do 1 or 2 tunes. You have 15 minutes (approximately 5 minutes should be used to talk through and set tempos for charts with Rhythm Section)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The Rhythm Section is composed of OUTSTANDING Professional players (Piano\/Bass\/rums)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Please write out basic form and format of your charts\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Example:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>1st Ride (Time through) \u2013 Rubato<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>2nd Ride &#8211; In tempo \u2013 medium swing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>3rd Ride \u2013 Scat<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>4th Ride \u2013 Words with piano solo on bridge<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The more information you can give the rhythm section the better.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>I strongly recommend an arrangement using jazz chords \u2013 The New Real Vocal Book I, II and III (Hal Leonard) or the Sher Fake books are great, as well as the old \u201cReal Vocal Book\u201d.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You will perform on a Shure Beta microphone.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Like our Vocal Ensemble Venues \u2013 the solo rooms are open to the public.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>If we can assist you in any way with this ahead of time \u2013 please contact us at Bellevue College.
