The Bellevue College Vocal Jazz Festival 2019 is designed to provide both a competitive and\/or \u201ccomment only\u201d type performance festival for Vocal Jazz Choirs. This is an excellent opportunity to get an early mid-year start on hearing other fine jazz choirs, vocalists, adjudications and clinics. We are also excited to again include a vocal soloist component to this year\u2019s festival. The solo portion will include a 25 minute performance, 25 minute clinic.15-minute rehearsal\/performance with Professional Rhythm Section (Provided by Bellevue College).<\/p>\n

Our annual festival is a collegial experience for each vocal jazz choir to perform for up to 25 minutes, and then receive a clinic\/adjudication on their performance from accomplished educators and clinicians.<\/p>\n

The Bellevue College Vocal Jazz Festival 2019 will feature Middle School and High School Vocal Jazz Group Performance as well as evening GALA concert with the acclaimed \u201cBellevue College Jazz Singers\u201d and Special Guest Artist SARA GAZAREK.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

The daytime festival group and solo performances are FREE to the public 8:00AM \u2013 5:00PM including a 12PM workshop\u00a0with renowned jazz vocalist\/guest artist Sara Gazarek in Carlson Theatre.<\/p>\n

The Saturday Evening Gala Concert will begin at 7:30PM and will include three selected High School Groups, The Bellevue College Jazz Singers<\/em> and Special Guest Artist Sara Gazarek.<\/em><\/p>\n
