Veteran’s program to raise funds for post-service academic success May 21

Dinner proceeds will go to programs and services for Bellevue College veteran students

Veteran students are a growing demographic on the Bellevue College campus; one that is likely to grow further as more military members return to the states from deployment, seeking college degrees and transitioning into the civilian workforce. Yet veterans, and military students in general, face unique challenges in the shift from combat to the classroom.

Addressing this growing need, Bellevue College Veteran’s Services will host a dinner fundraiser Wednesday, May 21, from 6 – 8 p.m. at Kaisho to ensure these unique challenges continue to receive the support they deserve on the Eastside.
