Bellevue College Narrows Presidential Search to Three Finalists

Bellevue College the campus awaiting the planned Homecoming celebration to come.

BELLEVUE, Wash. – The Bellevue College Board of Trustees announced today that the Presidential Search Advisory Committee, which included representatives from both the College and members of the community, has forwarded to the Board three finalists for the next president of Bellevue College.

Those finalists are (in alphabetical order): Dr. Karén Lynn Clos, Chief Advancement Officer/External Director for Advancement & Alumni Services at Texas A&M University-Central Texas; Ms. Angelia N. Millender, President of Olive-Harvey College, City Colleges of Chicago; Dr. Jerry W. Weber, President of the College of Lake County.

All three candidates will be visiting Bellevue College, where they will participate in open forums and meet with the Board of Trustees, the president’s cabinet, and other campus groups. Dr. Karén Lynn Clos is scheduled for March 8, Ms. Angelia N. Millender is scheduled for March 10, and Dr. Jerry W. Weber is scheduled for March 13.

The nationwide search began last fall, and was coordinated by a Presidential Search Advisory Committee comprised of representatives from Bellevue College students, faculty, staff, trustees, foundation, and community members, with the assistance of an executive search firm, Gold Hill Associates.
