RN-BSN Program Outcomes

Successful graduates of the program should meet all course and program learning outcomes. The program learning outcomes for the RN to BSN, which reflect the Essentials of Baccalaureate Nursing guidelines, are as follows:

  1. Evaluate and apply evidence-based research to clinical practice
  2. Appraise protective and predictive factors, including genetics, which influence the health of individuals, families, groups, communities and populations
  3. Develop and implement creative strategies to enable systems to change
  4. Negotiate and resolve conflicts to support professional, positive working relationships
  5. Utilize intra- and inter-professional resources to resolve ethical and other practice dilemmas
  6. Assess and fully utilize sophisticated healthcare information management systems to maximize patient outcomes
