CommonAPP has a chat feature and help sections for each application section. Please use this guide to help you fill out your application and ensure that it is complete.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Application Steps<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-bc-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\" id=\"step1\">1. Start your CommonAPP<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Our application is available through&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.commonapp.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">CommonAPP<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You must create an account in order to find the Bellevue College ADN program in the list.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We recommend that you use the email account that you check the most when setting up your CommonAPP account. This will ensure that you do not miss any important notifications.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The program will not be listed until the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/adn\/apply\/dates\/\">application start date<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-bc-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\" id=\"step2\">2. Fill out the sections.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You must complete all required sections of the application completely and honestly.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you have difficulty with CommonAPP, they have help sections and a chat feature to help with filling out your application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upload all <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/adn\/apply\/documents\/\">documents<\/a> as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/399\/2020\/07\/flattenPDF.pdf\">flattened PDFs<\/a> (submitting a PDF with form fields can lead to loss of Double check documents and information<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Look through your CommonAPP to verify all information is correct.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Make sure that you have uploaded the correct documents (giving them distinct names helps!)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Unofficial transcripts are the only documents uploaded outside of Program Materials. Make sure they are uploaded in Academic History for each college you have attended.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check to make sure that your Clinical Passport was uploaded as a flattened PDF.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can&#8217;t remove or change anything after submitting, so check everything!<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-bc-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\" id=\"step4\">4. Submit and pay for application<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>When you are sure everything is correct, submit your application.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Pay the fee of $40 to submit your CommonAPP application.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading has-white-color has-bc-blue-background-color has-text-color has-background\" id=\"step5\">5. Check for completeness<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>CommonAPP has <a href=\"https:\/\/help.liaisonedu.com\/The_Common_App_for_transfer_Applicant_Help_Center\/Submitting_and_Monitoring_Your_Common_App_for_transfer\/Before_and_After_You_Submit_Your_Common_App_for_transfer\/02_Check_Your_Common_App_for_transfer_Notifications_and_Status#:~:text=Application%20Statuses,-Applicants%20are%20responsible&amp;text=To%20help%20you%20keep%20track,once%20received%20from%20your%20recommender.\">different statuses<\/a> based on the completeness of your application.<strong>***<\/strong>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your application has a status of <strong>Received<\/strong> it is missing important documents.<strong>***<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Usually this means that you did not attach one or more of your unofficial transcripts in the &#8220;Academic History&#8221; section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>You can add these missing transcripts to your submitted application, as long as you attach them before the application deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If your application has a status of <strong>Complete<\/strong> then you have submitted a document for all the required documents.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>***Note:<\/strong> Some applicants have reported a delay in status changes, and that the application may be marked as &#8220;Received&#8221; immediately after submitting. If this occurs, please check to make sure that all of your transcripts and other documents are uploaded. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-info\">\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Regarding Application Content and Admission Decisions<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>Your application is your responsibility. Bellevue College Nursing is not responsible for outdated, incorrect, or missing information on the application you submit via CommonAPP. To make sure you have uploaded the correct document(s), be sure to select the \u201cpreview\u201d button after attaching each document and review the content. If you have uploaded the wrong document or a change you made is missing, remove it from CommonAPP and upload the correct one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The admission committee reviews applications based on the information and required documents you provide in the application. The committee does not review documents&nbsp;<em>not<\/em>&nbsp;submitted through CommonAPP. Bellevue College Nursing will answer application questions as a courtesy.
