This check is required for all clinical practice sites. The background check is processed through CastleBranch and must be completed by the first day of the program. The fee for this check is included in the program fee.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-row row\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-column col-md-12\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Immunization Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All students must have a completed <a href=\"https:\/\/cpnw.blob.core.windows.net\/documents\/clinicalPassport\/Passport_fillable.pdf\">Clinical Passport PDF<\/a> on file and provide <a href=\"https:\/\/cpnw.blob.core.windows.net\/documents\/clinicalPassport\/PassportTutorial_FINAL.pdf\">Clinical Onboarding Student\/Instructor PDF<\/a> with their application and prior to any clinical practice. You must have the following immunizations or titers completed when applying to the program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><strong><em>Please Note: Immunization and titer requirements may take additional time to complete, so plan accordingly: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sections Submitted with Application (only these titers and\/or immunizations)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Tuberculin Status: A negative 2-step skin test AND a repeated 2-step skin test for confirmation administered within one to three weeks or a negative titer; may not be older than one year from start of the program. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Hepatitis B: Positive titer anytime.  If you receive a negative titer or have not completed your Hepatitis B vaccinations, you will need to start a vaccinations series (document first vaccination on CPNW Clinical Passport) and receive all future vaccinations and titer on-time to stay compliant.  <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MMR (measles, mumps &amp; rubella)- two vaccine series or immunity by titer for all three anytime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Varicella- two vaccine series or immunity by titer anytime.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tdap (tetanus\/diptheria\/pertussis)- initial dose and then a dose within last 10 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Influenza- dose of current year&#8217;s vaccine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>COVID-19 Vaccination- If you&#8217;ve had a one or two dose series please include this information on your passport.  If you haven&#8217;t you are not required to get it now, but most likely need to get the most recent COVID-19 vaccination if accepted to the program before starting.  Please review our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/options\/cne\/\">COVID-19 statement<\/a> at the bottom of our website. <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-css-opacity is-style-wide\" \/>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-right\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/options\/cne\/rnr\/requirements\/\">Return to RNR Requirements<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-warning\">\n<p>Many of our clinical&nbsp;partner&nbsp;are requiring that clinical students be fully vaccinated, or even have a booster,&nbsp;against COVID-19&nbsp;regardless of whether the student qualifies for a&nbsp;religious or medical exemption as an accommodation from the College.&nbsp;Therefore, if you are not vaccinated&nbsp;against COVID-19 (regardless of whether you qualify for a religious&nbsp;or medical exemption),&nbsp;<strong>Bellevue College likely will not be able to place you in a clinical site, which means you will not be able to complete the program you have started.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no current plans to change any Covid policy or procedures as of July 31, 2023.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>These prerequisites for clinical placement are based on requirements established by Washington State law, college regulations, and individual agency regulations.&nbsp; The college and the program reserve the right to amend or add requirements as needed.
