The RN-BSN Program curriculum expands students\u2019 knowledge and skills in evidence-based practice, community health, professional communication, leadership, and health information technology (HIT), as well as healthcare systems and policies. Learning experiences are focused on individuals, families, groups and communities. Students complete a scholarly project over their last two quarters that demonstrates learning in leadership and management. Graduates are prepared to be managers of care, providers of care and active members of the profession.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The RN-BSN program is approved by the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/doh.wa.gov\/licenses-permits-and-certificates\/nursing-commission\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Washington Board of Nursing<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-info\">\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading has-bc-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-d6eace9b0fc4214d116aed258d72c49a\"><strong>ACCREDITATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing Program at Bellevue College is accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing<em> <\/em>Education, 655 K Street NW Suite 750, Washington, DC 20001, 202-887-6791.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Accreditation status for the RN-BSN program is valid until October 2029<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-info\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-bc-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7e42c4e6bc993e782a718aef17f13bc7\"><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Applicants to the Bellevue College RN to BSN program must meet the following admission requirements:<\/strong><\/h5>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from a regionally accredited U.S. institution or an equivalent nursing degree from an internationally accredited institution.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must include at least 35 quarter credits in nursing<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum grade of \u2018C\u2019 (2.0) in all required courses for the ADN program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Cumulative GPA of 2.0 in all college courses<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>College level statistics course that includes inferential statistics<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Course must be equivalent to 5-credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Current unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in WA state or an active Multistate licensure as a registered nurse within the Nursing Licensure Compact (NLC) with a formal dated letter from the State Board that the RN license is currently in good standing.<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Students in their <strong>final year<\/strong> of an ADN program may be admitted; However, students must take and pass the NCLEX-RN exam by the end of their second quarter of the RN-BSN program<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Successful passing of NCLEX-RN earns the student 45 college credits<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Have at least one year of recent (within the past 3 years) clinical experience<\/strong>.\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>ADN clinical experience may be substituted for students applying directly from an ADN program<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-info\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-bc-blue-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-2272783c402fed2cd7204119a370c31e\"><strong>Are you Ready to Apply?<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Review the program Eligibility Criteria listed above. \n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li class=\"has-bc-red-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-7cc098b905df84d442e38979b3c2b7bf\">Be sure you meet all Eligibility Criteria before going to Step-2<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/admissions\/rn-bsn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application Instruction<\/a> page to find out important dates and deadlines for submitting your application. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Become familiar with the program <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/admissions\/rn-bsn\/application-materials\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Application Materials<\/a> webpage so you know what is expected for your personal statement and recommendations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sign up for an online <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/nursing\/advising\/information-sessions\/rnbsn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Drop-in Session<\/a>. Tuition and fees are billed by Bellevue College each quarter. The figure below is an estimate of tuition and fee costs for the duration of the program. The charges for tuition and fees are subject to change at the discretion of Bellevue College and the Nursing Program.
