One of our OLS graduates from the class of 2017 was recently interviewed as part of a video with Open Doors for Multicultural Families, a non-profit organization dedicated to the needs of diverse families who have loved ones with developmental disabilities and special health care needs.
In this video, Ky discusses disclosure, a topic students learn about in multiple courses in the OLS Program. Disclosure is challenging to understand, and it can be more challenging to know when to disclose. Ky is great example of how the OLS college education can be used in daily life, and her comments in this video reflect her beliefs and provide much needed education to the community as a whole.
