Student Stories: Physical Education Community Activity

This past October, our fall quarter Physical Education courses (Yoga, Tai Chi, and Qigong) came together for a community activity on main campus. Peter Prescott, the outdoor specialist for Bellevue College, led team building activities, active games, and discussion on the outside challenge course.  The students were engaged and excited.

Physical fitness and health is such an important part of everyday life. Students in our OLS Movement courses learn how significant our bodies are, and how important it is to move them. The community activity gave us new perspective on fitness and created an opportunity for making new social connections.
