OLS Students Collect Items for Food Drive

Two OLS Students pose with 128 canned food items at the North Campus front deskOct 8-12 marked the annual Homecoming celebration for Bellevue College, and OLS students and the North Campus came together to participate in Brutus’ Food Drive Challenge. OLS Student Council rallied their fellow students, instructors, staff, and other North Campus members and collected 128 items this year. Although it wasn’t enough to earn the traveling trophy this year, they did collect 27 more items than last year’s drive. Way to go North Campus!

OLS Student Council members plan and implement community-building events and service projects to promote unity and respect within the OLS Community and enrich life experiences. They also encourage students to advocate for themselves and believe everyone wants to do their best.
