With graduation on the horizon, 4th year OLS students are busy finishing up their internships. These internships represent the dedication and self-determination these students have demonstrated throughout their time in our program.
Recently they spent some time reflecting on their host company’s mission statement and how they contribute to that mission. Here are some of their reflections:
I contribute to my company’s mission by:
- By delivering, picking and sorting mail securely.
- Looking the part; Dressing the part; Acting the part. Every new/returning resident expects 5-star service. Similarly, this makes my job as a receptionist that much more personable/serious.
- Preserving historic artifacts to either static display or operating condition for the train operations.
- Doing my best to provide great customer service.
- Helping the patients have a warm welcome. Also I help the patients feel calm when they go into the room for a MRI.
- Making sure that I take care of myself and other co-workers by providing resources inside and outside of the company to maintain a healthy and positive work environment.
- Helping provide excellent customer service to customers when they bring their vehicles in for service.
- By showing that no matter the circumstance or personality that every dog, cat, etc. deserves all the love in the world.
