Circuit Training

Students had a lot of fun in the Strength & Fitness elective course this fall. One activity they participated in was a series of circuit training exercises that fit into the components of fitness categories. These categories are muscular strength, muscular endurance, cardiovascular endurance, and flexibility. Students do a series of walking or jogging, stair climbing, light weight training, squats and lunges, and yoga.

Not only do students learn important elements of fitness and how to incorporate it into their lives, they also work together and encourage one another to complete the activities. Students also discuss various ways they can involve themselves sin their own fitness communities outside of their courses.

Strength & Fitness is an elective course OLS Students can take to obtain their associate degree from OLS. To learn more about our program register for an Information Session.
