Disability Advocacy

The Disability Advocacy Club (DAC) is a program designed to provide support to disabled students and staff through community, peer to peer mentoring, advocacy, and action. The DAC has multiple goals. First, the DAC has the foremost mission of serving as a refuge to those who are disabled. Second, the DAC is designed to support individual, group, community and campus wide efforts to raise awareness to the challenges that members of the disabled community face and how through understanding of these issues individuals and communities can change in ways that benefit not only disabled individuals but the community as a whole.
