This work has helped me feel connected to my children again.&#8221;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Overview<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The BC program has long been known for its engaging parent-child classes. However, for parents looking to learn new parenting skills in an adult only setting, we also offer a few parent-only classes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A short audio clip with teacher Kristin: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2025\/09\/Positive-Discipline-clip-2.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Positive Discipline (Fall 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-audio\"><audio controls src=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/52\/2025\/09\/Positive-Discipline-clip.mp3\"><\/audio><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>This class is taught by Kristin Nasman, MEd, and is for parents with children age 1 to 12. The class will begin Monday, October 20 and run through November 24 (no class on 11\/17). Students must register for the class by Monday, October 13. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cost: College tuition is $20.14 per student. Wonderful ideas that I was able to use right away.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:41px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ESL for Parents (Spring 2025)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The ESL for Parents class is for parents who do not speak English at home and who have a child between pre-school and 3<sup>rd<\/sup> grade (age 3 &#8211; 9). The focus is on improving the parents\u2019 English language skills needed to help their children. This class is for all levels of English language learners.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This class will meet on five Monday evenings, during the quarter in the evening( please check back for dates and times). The class will be in-person on the BC campus. The cost is $18.41 per student. This is a parent only class. Children do not attend.&nbsp; Class is held on campus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:46px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Register<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Email the instructor to let them know you would like to join the class. AND<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enroll with the college:&nbsp;If you are new to the college, you&#8217;ll first need to be admitted as a student.
