These courses are as rigorous as those found at some of the best baccalaureate institutions. The emphasis in most of the Philosophy courses is on the reading, comprehension, and critical assessment of primary texts and contemporary discussions. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n\n\n<h2><strong>PHIL 102:<\/strong> Contemporary Moral Issues <span class='badge text-bg-secondary badge-secondary'>5 <abbr title=\"credits\">cr<\/abbr>.<\/span><\/h2><p>Provides philosophical consideration of some of the main moral problems of modern society and civilization such as abortion, euthanasia, war, and capital punishment.
