In accordance with\u00a0the\u00a0Americans with Disabilities Act,\u00a0Americans with Disabilities Amendment Act of 2008,\u00a0Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973,\u00a0and\u00a0Washington\u00a0State\u00a0laws\u00a0related to\u00a0discrimination\u00a0and disabilities,\u00a0the college provides reasonable\u00a0accommodations\u00a0related to college programs and services to all students\u00a0with\u00a0a documented\u00a0disability.\u00a0 The college considers qualified students for the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>academic accommodations;<\/li>\n<li>auxiliary aids and service accommodations;<\/li>\n<li>other accommodations as needed or required by federal or state law.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>These include but are not limited to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>adjustment to application processes and deadlines, such as registration, financial aid, and due dates for assignments;<\/li>\n<li>appropriate adjustment to classroom activities; testing and assessment; advising; housing programs; and other non-academic programs and services offered by the college.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Reasonable accommodations do not include attendants, individually prescribed devices, readers for personal use, or other devices of a personal nature.<\/p>\n<p>Students seeking an accommodation\u00a0must\u00a0submit a\u00a0request\u00a0to the Disability\u00a0Resource\u00a0Center (DRC)\u00a0and document\u00a0the nature and extent of the\u00a0disability in accordance with procedures 2500P.
