{"id":366,"date":"2014-06-02T14:05:52","date_gmt":"2014-06-02T21:05:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/policies\/?page_id=366"},"modified":"2019-06-12T16:14:21","modified_gmt":"2019-06-12T23:14:21","slug":"id-3210p","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/policies\/id-3210p\/","title":{"rendered":"3210P Academic Renewal (Procedures)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Original Date: 2\/28\/2006 * Last Revision Effective: 3\/5\/2019<br \/>\nPolicy Contact: Provost for Academic and Student Affairs<\/p>\n<h2>Purpose<\/h2>\n<p>The following procedures are established to implement Policy <a title=\"3210 Academic Forgiveness\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/policies\/id-3210\/\">3210 \u2013 Academic Renewal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<h2>Procedures<\/h2>\n<p>Students seeking academic renewal must take the following steps:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Meet with an academic advisor to develop an educational plan that describes the path to completion of their degree, certificate, or other academic goals.<\/li>\n<li>Fill out the Academic Renewal Petition Form (available on the online services website).<\/li>\n<li>Submit the completed form and the educational plan according to the instructions on the form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Students are notified through their BC email within 10 business days after submitting the petition.<\/p>\n<p>The college approves the academic renewal petition for all students who meet the established criteria. If a petition is denied, students may request an administrative review by contacting Student Central.
