{"id":553,"date":"2014-06-03T12:53:27","date_gmt":"2014-06-03T19:53:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/policies\/?page_id=553"},"modified":"2015-04-21T14:13:38","modified_gmt":"2015-04-21T21:13:38","slug":"id-4950","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/policies\/id-4950\/","title":{"rendered":"4950 Separation From Employment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Original Date: 11\/1\/1995 * Last Revision Effective:\u00a04\/21\/2015<br \/>\nPolicy Contact: Vice President, Human Resources<\/p>\n<h2>Policy<\/h2>\n<p>When a Bellevue College faculty or staff member leaves Bellevue College employment, he\/she is responsible for the following on or before the last day of employment:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>return all keys for Bellevue College facilities to campus operations;<\/li>\n<li>return all Bellevue College equipment borrowed for use off-campus; file paperwork with material resources; return all library books and materials;<\/li>\n<li>return corporate American Express and Budget Rent-A-Car cards to finance; pay any parking and traffic fines, library fines, or other outstanding debts to the college;<\/li>\n<li>repay any travel advances or petty cash advances.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>It is helpful but not mandatory to notify technology services of passwords for voice-mail, e-mail, and HP access. Technology services will be responsible for canceling SCAN and HP authorizations.<\/p>\n<p>Payroll will not release the former employee\u2019s final paycheck until all pertinent obligations have been met.
