More information about the application process&nbsp;go to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/radon\/apply\/\">How to Apply page<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Where should I submit the completed applications?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Program applications are completely done online. All required supporting documents are uploaded with your application. See application instructions on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/radon\/apply\/\">&#8220;How to Apply&#8221;<\/a> page.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do I need to complete all prerequisite courses?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You may apply to the program before completing all prerequisites. However, you must complete the prerequisites by the end of winter quarter of the year you are applying.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do I need to complete the prerequisite courses at Bellevue College?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prerequisite courses may be completed at any nationally accredited community or four year college. It&#8217;s your responsibility to assure that courses you\u2019ve taken at other institutions of higher education meet the curriculum context of Bellevue College courses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do I attend class during the summer quarter?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes. Students attend clinical education classes for eleven weeks each summer quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do I receive all my clinical education instruction at one clinical education center?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The program requires that each student receive clinical instruction at a minimum of two clinical education centers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Do I need to visit a radiation therapy department?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, an applicant must visit one radiation therapy department prior to the interview with the Admissions Committee. The applicant should plan to spend at least 2-4 hours depending on the observation site and\/or availability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are there homework assignments outside of class time?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yes, students should be prepared to devote at least fifteen to twenty hours a week completing homework.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Can the program be taken part-time?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The program is designed for full-time attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Are the classes during the day or evening?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All clinical education classes are offered during the day. Most didactic classes are also scheduled between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. occasionally a course may be scheduled during the evening.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How are students selected to the program?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Prospective students are evaluated in the following areas:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Academic ability.<\/li><li>Communication skills.<\/li><li>Interest and knowledge in the field.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>An interview with the program&#8217;s Admissions Committee is required.
