RAIT 325, which includes digital breast tomosynthesis, meets the ARRT&#8217;s requirement of <em>Structured Education for Mammography,<\/em> the first step toward exam eligibility<em>.<\/em> If you choose to take your Women\u2019s Imaging career a step further, we also offer courses in Breast Ultrasound.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Please us the contact car at to let know of your interest in mammography. The mammography course series is designed to prepare Radiographers to obtain certification and employment in this specialty area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mammography course series can be taken separately or as a part of the Radiation &amp; Imaging Sciences Bachelors of Applied Science degree. This course series is designed for registered Radiographers, and students in related imaging programs. It is a great program for imaging professionals seeking employment in women&#8217;s health clinics and breast centers. Imaging professionals must be current in their national certification and must apply to Bellevue College but are not required to apply to the RAIS program. Imaging Professionals are limited to take 10 credits per year as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/nonmatriculated\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">non-matriculated student<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 1: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/admissions-aid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Apply<\/a> for general admission at Bellevue College<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>You must apply to Bellevue College in order to take a course through our program. Please allow 1-2 weeks for processing time.
