Please contact our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/international\/\">Office of International Education<\/a> for more information.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Age Restriction:<\/strong> State regulations prohibit Minors from getting occupational radiation exposure. For this reason, you must be 18 years old at the time that you begin the program.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><span style=\"font-size: inherit\">All Applicants to the Radiologic Technology program are required to complete the following prerequisite courses. Each prerequisite course must be completed with a grade of 2.7 or higher.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">ENGL&amp; 101<\/a> English Composition I, 5 Credits<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>MATH &#8211; choose one from the following:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">MATH 099<\/a> Intermediate Algebra, 5 Credits (completed within the last 5 yrs.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">MATH 130<\/a> Introduction to Statistics, 5 Credits (completed within the las 5 yrs.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assessment into MATH&amp;141 Precalculus I (taken within the last year) <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">BIOL&amp; 241 Human Anatomy &amp; Physiology I<\/a> with lab, 6 Credits (completed within the last 5 yrs.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">BIOL&amp; 242 Human Anatomy &amp; Physiology II<\/a>&nbsp;with lab, 6 Credits (completed within the last 5 yrs.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">AHE 110 Medical Terminology<\/a>, 5 Credits (Newly added prerequisite starting 2021 applications)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose one CMST course below for the Diversity requirement:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">CMST 252 Communication in a Diverse Healthcare Workplace<\/a>, 5 credits (replaces CMST 250 Communication in a Diverse Workplace starting Summer 2020) or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/catalog.bellevuecollege.edu\/content.php?catoid=12&amp;navoid=595\">CMST 280 Intercultural Communication<\/a>, 5 credits <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Prerequisite courses must also meet the following requirements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>All courses must be from a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.chea.org\/regional-accrediting-organizations\">regionally accredited college<\/a>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Each prerequisite course may be repeated up to a maximum of 2 times. If the BIOL&amp;241 and BIOL&amp;242 courses are repeated within a 3 year period, first and retake grades will be averaged.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>For BIOL&amp;241 and BIOL&amp;242 <\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-alert alert alert-info\">\n<p>Currently, we do not differentiate between online and in-person learning to meet Biology&amp;241 and BIOL&amp;242 program pre-requisites. We highly encourage students to participate in Anatomy and Physiology courses that are presented in-person or in a hybrid format since we have found that students learn much better in these settings.
