To share their knowledge, they created a series of videos that address issues such as how to mend clothing, identify clothing quality, how to sew, and the environmental problems &#8220;fast fashion&#8221; causes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br><a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/playlist?list=PLyM4AhN6wMalJi_eCj57Gdr_PNOnzaK86\"><strong>No More Fast Fashion: videos and extra resources \u2013 YouTube<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-mayflower-blocks-collapse accordion-item\"><h3 class=\"accordion-header mb-0\" id=\"heading_69ae293e-edbe-4bdc-859d-195d5ef454e4\"><button class=\"accordion-button bg-default text-bg-default\n\t\t collapsed\" type=\"button\" data-bs-toggle=\"collapse\" data-bs-target=\"#collapse_69ae293e-edbe-4bdc-859d-195d5ef454e4\" aria-expanded=\"false\" aria-controls=\"collapse_69ae293e-edbe-4bdc-859d-195d5ef454e4\">Frozen Sounds (MUSC 107, Fundamentals of Music, Winter 2025)<\/button><\/h3><div id=\"collapse_69ae293e-edbe-4bdc-859d-195d5ef454e4\" class=\"accordion-collapse collapse \" aria-labelledby=\"heading_69ae293e-edbe-4bdc-859d-195d5ef454e4\" data-parent=\"#accordion_08bffdff-8142-4504-85f2-6c21a4d59dc5\" data-bs-parent=\"#accordion_08bffdff-8142-4504-85f2-6c21a4d59dc5\"><div class=\"accordion-body bg-default text-bg-default\n\t\t\">\n<p>Instructor Naeim Rahmani introduced students to the principles of Musique Concr\u00e8te&nbsp;and the early electroacoustic techniques essential to its development. Students worked with everyday sound recordings &#8211; such as the&nbsp;sounds of a creaking door, footsteps, or machinery\u2014as primary raw materials for their compositions. Through manipulation and layering, they transformed these&nbsp;sounds, detaching them from their original contexts to create new sonic structures. This process enabled students to explore the relationships between&nbsp;sound&nbsp;objects, leading to a new musical language focused on the intrinsic properties of&nbsp;sound&nbsp;itself, independent of its original sources.
