Fall Quarter SAMI programs

Family Science: Winter Crafts

Please join us for our Family Science Program on Wednesday, December 18 at Bellevue College from 1:30-3:30 pm.

This is a drop-in program for families to engage with fun, winter/holiday themed activities together: : snowflake making (potentially Star Wars or Frozen-themed–FREE designs by Anthony Herrera) and Make-Your-Own Light-Up Card. The event will take place in L100 (first floor of the “L” building).

This event is free, but to ensure we have enough supplies, please register here: https://forms.bellevuecollege.edu/sami/familyscience/

We are proud for this program to be free to the public, but we will also be taking donations (money or shelf-stable food) for Bellevue College’s Food Pantry, which is open to anyone in need. Please consider bringing about $5 of goods or cash per participant to donate to the pantry if you decide to drop in.

Feel free to park in any of our lots, but we highly suggest that you park in the large parking structure and just walk across the street. The L building is right across the street from the parking garage elevators and the L100 lounge is the large room on the first floor. Follow the laughter. 🙂

Science Cafe

Science Cafe: Is Evolution Real?

Join chemistry instructor Chris Shelley as we dive into a complex and often controversial topic: Evolution. As one of the major themes in biology, we will be exploring how science approaches evolution, the evidence, and the implications.
