Transcript requests are processed in the order that they are received. Requesting it in person will not give you any processing priority. Transcripts are mailed via the US Postal Service to the address provided on the request form.

How long does it take?

Transcript requests are processed in the order that they are received. Unless you have an outstanding financial obligation to Bellevue College or another hold on your records, requested transcripts are usually mailed in 2-3 business days and mailed via the US Postal Service with first class postage. This does not include delivery time which will depend on where the transcripts are being sent and timeliness of the US Postal Service. Processing may take longer time during peak times (e.g., the beginning and end of each quarter).

Who can request official transcripts?

Only students can request the release of official transcripts.

What if I have an outstanding financial or other obligation with the college?

Access to your grades may be withheld if you have any financial or other obligations not fulfilled such as outstanding tuition and fees, fines, or for unreturned college property. If you submit a request for official transcripts and you have any outstanding obligations, we will contact you.

Can you send the official transcripts electronically?

Yes, all transcripts going to the Office of Admissions for WA state public universities, community and technical colleges, go electronically. You will not find that option on the Clearinghouse website (selecting mail will still get your transcript sent electronically). If the transcript goes to a specific department or person , other than the Admissions Office, that will go by mail. If the transcript is being sent to any other school (not WA state public school) it cannot be sent electronically.
