Bellevue College Policy 2450 <a href=\"http:\/\/apps.leg.wa.gov\/rcw\/default.aspx?cite=28B.15.605\">RCW 28B.15.605<\/a>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Information about a withdraw without a refund is found on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/current-students\/enrollment\/withdrawal\/\">enrollment services page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students whose tuition and fees are paid by financial aid may not be eligible for a refund even if the appeal is approved. Refunds are paid back to the original source of payment such as a credit card, scholarship, third-party payer, or Financial Aid. Call to active U.S. military duty <\/td><td class=\"column-2\">Call to active military duty.<\/td><td class=\"column-3\">Submit military orders showing the effective date of deployment. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr class=\"row-4\">\n\t<td class=\"column-1\">3. Death<\/td><td class=\"column-2\">Death in the immediate family (parent, spouse, child, sibling).<\/td><td class=\"column-3\">Submit death certificate, obituary notice, memorial program or news article. <\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<tr class=\"row-5\">\n\t<td class=\"column-1\">4. Institutional Error<\/td><td class=\"column-2\">Student advised incorrectly by a representative of Bellevue College <\/td><td class=\"column-3\">Submit a written statement from a Bellevue College supervisor explaining how the supervisor\u2019s work unit was in error.<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div><!-- #tablepress-1 from cache -->\n\n\n<p>The table above shows the list of the four different types of circumstances that would allow for a refund of tuition and fees for a quarter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Instructions:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Fill out the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/current-students\/enrollment\/withdrawal-appeal-process\/\">Tuition Refund Appeal Form<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Include a statement explaining how you meet the criteria for a tuition refund<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attach copies of required documentation for one of the 4 circumstances listed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">If the appeal is due to student illness, also<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Print and sign the \u201cStudent\u2019s Consent to Release Medical Information\u201d section at the bottom of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/Medical-Withdraw-Appeal-Form-01-30-2026.pdf\">Health Provider Verification Form<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit the form to the appropriate health care professional and turn in the completed form along with your appeal.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submit the signed form via <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/current-students\/enrollment\/withdrawal-appeal-process\/\">the online form<\/a>, or through the mail or hand-deliver and any supplemental documentation to:<br><strong>Bellevue College<\/strong>&#8211; Student Central<br>Enrollment &amp; Registrar Services, Room U-104<br>3000 Landerholm Circle SE<br>Bellevue WA 98007<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IMPORTANT: Student appeals for tuition refunds are considered only for the special circumstances listed below, where the circumstance is of such a severity or duration that completion of the quarter is not possible.
