Charter a Club

Student groups needing access to campus resources for meetings and events need to become chartered as clubs. This process is managed by our student government (ASG). Part of the chartering process will also require that you, your founding members and your advisor attend a Club Orientation.

To request a club charter, complete the form below. The form will be routed for approval to your advisor before being submitted to us.

If you have not been able to find an advisor, let us know and we’ll provide one for you. There are many faculty and staff who are happy to make time to support your organization.

  • Give the proposed name of the club. Note: if you are re-charting a club, please use the club's original name, for budgeting purposes.
  • Provide a description of your club that we can use for advertising, and include links to any social media sites or Web sites.

    If you do not currently have a Web site, we can help you get started with a site on the BC Student Web. Let us know your interest when you attend your orientation session.
