Best Way to Reach Me: Email

I play a vital role in providing key services to the student body through the Leadership Institute. I administer, oversee, and direct all strategically planned program activities, services, and specialized trainings for the Leadership Institute.

I also develop and implement training for all BC students, with targeted programming for student leaders, and a focus on engaging students from traditionally underserved and underrepresented populations.

LaMeshia graduated from Eastern Washington University in 2010 after double majoring in Applied Developmental Psychology and Children’s Studies.  In 2012, she graduated from Oklahoma State University with a master’s degree in Counseling and is currently under supervision to become a Licensed Mental Health Counselor.  As advisor to the student government and student legislative teams, she enjoys working with students whose ethos include Social Justice, Inclusive Practices, and Servant Leadership.

Prior to working in Student Engagement, LaMeshia was a Case Manager for High School Programs and a Student Success Coach in the Student Success Coaching Program.  She is a planning committee member for the Faculty and Staff of Color Conference and serves on the Student Success Council.

LaMeshia enjoys attending sporting events (especially ice hockey) and is training in hopes of becoming a member of USA Curling and competing in the Winter Olympic Games.
