Thank you for reaching out. The college is in the process of implementing ctcLink, providing a brand-new student database management system, which includes a student self-service portal and mobile app designed to serve you better. The new system will go live the week of November 8.
In preparation, Student Affairs Offices are closed on Fridays through December 31 (with some exceptions that will be posted in advance.) Please check office websites for the latest updates (or go to Campus Services @ Bellevue College to find links to office websites.)
Nora Lance has worked at Bellevue College for more than 22 years, beginning in Enrollment Services, and then in International Student Programs where for 9 years she served as Associate Director. She is currently the Associate Director of Student Engagement.
Nora became interested in education in 1978 as a parent volunteering in the school system, and by hosting International students in her home. She loves working with students and helping them build stronger connections through cultural activities. While in International Programs, she advised International students needing help dealing with culture shock, solved housing and insurance problems, and integrated students into campus life through different organized events. Having lived abroad in Japan, Korea, and England, she knows firsthand the unique issues faced by international students as they acclimate to an American college campus.
Nora served on the board of the Aki Matsuri Festival, which was held on the Bellevue College campus for more than 18 years and attracted nearly 30,000 visitors annually. She holds a BA from the UW Jackson School of International Studies. She was honored in 2001 with the Bellevue College Margin of Excellence award and in 2008 as a Bellevue College “Living Treasure.”
