Review what other higher education institutions are doing for sustainability, social justice, and climate justice, and check the Bellevue College Office of Sustainability&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/resources\/\">Resources<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/sustainbc\/\">Sustainability at BC<\/a> pages to see what we are already doing or to look for inspiration!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 2<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Send us an email to sustainability@bellevuecollege.edu! We would love to help out in anyway we can and can chat with you to make your idea a reality!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 3<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p> Complete the paperwork:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/r\/gBfdrxphdg\">SESF Application Form<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2024\/08\/SESF-Budget-Request.docx\" data-type=\"attachment\" data-id=\"21701\">SESF Budget Form<\/a>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attach in the SESF Application in Microsoft Forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/16\/2019\/11\/SESF-Letter-of-Support-BLANK.docx\">Letter of Support<\/a> (required for student projects or projects impacting campus physical space)\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Attach in the SESF Application in Microsoft Forms<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Submit any questions to asgsocial@bellevuecollege.edu AND sustainability@bellevuecollege.edu<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 4<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Present your idea at the next SESF Meeting and ask for funding! The committee will vote on your proposal. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/get-involved\/sesf\/committee\/\">The committee<\/a> is made up of friendly, sustainability-minded students, staff, and faculty. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 5<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If the committee votes to approve your proposal, the chair of the SESF (ASG Director of Civic Engagement) will then take the proposed funding request to the <a href=\"https:\/\/studentweb.bellevuecollege.edu\/asg\/\">ASG Board of Directors (BOD)<\/a>. The BOD will vote to ratify the funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 6<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once ratified, your funds are now available! The SESF Committee Chair will email you with instructions on how to access your funds for your project.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Step 7 (If Requested)<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If requested by the SESF Committee, you may be required to return to the committee and present on your project&#8217;s successes and challenges.
