And with summer arrives\u2026the BC RideMatch\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.rideshareonline.com\/SummerPromo.html\">summertime promotion<\/a>! Brought to you by your local transit agency, King County Metro, WSDOT and the Washington State Ridesharing Organization, this five-week campaign runs from Sunday, Aug. 17, through Saturday, Sept. 20.<\/p>\n<p>Those\u00a0who register or update their accounts and log at least 10 completed, eligible commute trips on the BC RideMatch calendar will be entered into prize drawings. Eligible modes include vanpool, carpool, riding transit, walking, biking, telecommuting, or compressing their work week. As the eligible trips are logged on the calendar, employees will be automatically qualified for the prize drawings. Participating employees who track their qualified work trips will be entered into random prize drawings, in which they could win:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>One of four gift cards valued at $500 each<\/li>\n<li>One of 30 $50 MasterCard weekly gift cards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>With school starting in a few months, now\u2019s a great time to think about commute choices. And BCRideMatch\u00a0can help through carpool and vanpool ridematching, personalized dashboard reporting cost and fuel savings and rewards for everything from riding the bus to working from home.<\/p>\n<h5>How do employees enter?<\/h5>\n<p>Employees will need to register at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/we\/transportation\/ridematch\/\" target=\"_blank\">BCRideMatch<\/a>\u00a0or log in and access their accounts. Then, during the Aug. 17 \u2013 Sept. 20 promotion, they need to log at least 10 eligible trips on the calendar to be entered into prize drawings and track weekly to be entered into weekly drawings. Eligible modes include vanpool, carpool, riding transit, walking, biking, telecommuting or compressing their work week. As the eligible trips are logged on the calendar, employees will be automatically qualified for the prize drawings.<\/p>\n<p><strong>What Do You Need To Do? <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Look for the posters that have been mailed to you or make copies of the attached poster pdf and post them in high traffic areas around your worksite to generate awareness.
