{"id":11585,"date":"2016-02-01T09:15:27","date_gmt":"2016-02-01T17:15:27","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/?p=11585"},"modified":"2016-02-01T09:16:10","modified_gmt":"2016-02-01T17:16:10","slug":"earth-week-is-back","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/2016\/02\/01\/earth-week-is-back\/","title":{"rendered":"Earth Week is Back!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It&#8217;s approaching that time of year again- Earth Week is here!\u00a0In the spirit of environmental literacy, the <a title=\"Office of Sustainability\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/who\/office-of-sustainability\/\" target=\"_blank\">Office of Sustainability<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/who\/eac\/\" target=\"_blank\">Environmental Advisory Committee (EAC),<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a title=\"Bellevue College SSA\" href=\"http:\/\/www.bellevuecollege.edu\/sustainability\/who\/ssa\/\" target=\"_blank\">Sustainability and Science Association<\/a> (SSA), \u00a0are sponsoring the seventeenth annual Earth Week \u2013 a week of lectures, demonstrations, information booths, prizes, videos, and music! In order to make it happen though, WE NEED YOUR HELP. Throughout the month of February, The Office of Sustainability\u00a0will be accepting requests and recommendations for event speakers &amp; guests throughout the week of April 19-22. In the past, student requests have brought in popular local businesses, electric vehicle fleets, and composting workshops.
