Mass Transit Now offers much needed relief from gridlock while long-term investments in light rail provide jobs, improve our quality of life and protect our environment.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Position Summary:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Grassroots Organizing Fellow will assist the Eastside Regional Director in building a grassroots movement to support Mass Transit in a number of capacities including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Direct Voter contact<\/li>\n<li>Volunteer recruitment\/coordination<\/li>\n<li>Data Entry<\/li>\n<li>Networking<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This internship is a great fit for anyone interested in learning more about Grassroots Organizing, Campaigns, Public Policy (particularly transportation policy), Urban Planning, Political Science, and Outreach.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>No prior campaign experience required. We are looking for students who are enthusiastic about and\/or interested in transportation issues, public policy, and activism.
