The 2012-2013 BC READS! Student Scholarship Winners have been selected!<\/p>\n

Thank you to the faculty who participated in the selection process for the common book and for judging the entries in the scholarship contest.\u00a0 The winners will be honored at an afternoon tea during National Library Week in April.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s BC READS! book, Deep Economy<\/em><\/strong> by Bill McKibben, has been used in 19 classes.<\/p>\n

A Scholarship Committee, composed of faculty, reviewed the entries.\u00a0 Each entry provided a unique interpretation of the messages conveyed by the book.\u00a0\u00a0The entries will be on display in the Library Media Center starting March 1, 2013.<\/p>\n

Congratulations to the students and their instructors for their work in integrating this year\u2019s common book into their learning experiences.<\/p>\n

BC Reads! Scholarships are funded by the Library Media Center.\u00a0 The scholarships will pay one quarter\u2019s tuition costs, up to a maximum of $1,000.<\/p>\n
