Jahkari Aujla-Singh is currently a Bellevue College student and the External Legislative Affairs Representative for the Associated Student Government. Originally, from Kent, Washington, Jahkari first attended BC as a running start student through Bellevue High School. After graduating, he continued his education at BC where he will graduate with an associate degree in arts and sciences this spring. Jahkari plans to transfer to a university and major in political science, then go to law school and eventually run for public office in the state of Washington.

Student leader and activist at Bellevue College

Shemshia Kassa is in her final year at Bellevue College as a pre-nursing major. She completed her entire high school career abroad in Egypt and Ethiopia respectively, before attending Bellevue College and becoming the Coordinator of the Black Student Union. While at Bellevue she was one of four students selected to participate in a Civil Rights pilgrimage in conjunction with the University of Washington.

Bellevue College Theatre Arts

The Bellevue College Theatre Arts department will be performing two songs from their upcoming musical production of Carrie the Musical. “Carrie” will be performed by Annika Summers (Carrie) and “Once You See” will be performed by Abby Lewis (Sue).
