High School Transcripts

Use your high school transcript for English 101 placement if:

  • Your high school is within the United States, and
  • Your document shows your name and all completed coursework to date, and
  • You are a Running Start applicant and your transcript shows at least a 3.0 grade point average (GPA), or
  • You graduated from high school within the last 2 years and your transcript shows at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA

Use your high school transcript for math placement if:

  • You graduated within the last 2 years from a WA state public high school or accredited WA private school, or
  • You are a Running Start applicant/student, and
  • Your completed math coursework meets the grade criteria as indicated in the Placement Grid below:

Additional Option for Bellevue, Lake Washington and Snoqualmie Valley School Districts

Due to the current COVID-19 health crisis, the office has moved to online only services.

Please email documents (test scores, unofficial transcripts, etc.) to testing@bellevuecollege.edu, until further notice. You may also use email to ask specific questions.

Provide the following in your email:

  • Your Bellevue College student ID number
  • Use your BC email if you have one
  • State what it is you want the office to do with your document. For example, Need math and English placement
  • Be sure to attach your documentation (transcript, test score, etc.)
