To use your high school transcript for English and math placement, please use the button below. Note: this process requires you to login using your NetID. 

Request English and Math Placement

IMPORTANT NOTE: OFFICIAL HIGH SCHOOL TRANSCRIPTS SENT TO BELLEVUE COLLEGE ADMISSIONS OR ENROLLMENT SERVICES ARE NOT RETAINED. Please obtain your own unofficial copy of your transcript and provide it with this request.

Use your high school transcript for English 101 placement if:

  • You currently attend an accredited high school, or are homeschooled within the U.S. and have completed at least the first semester of your sophomore year, or you graduated from an accredited high school or you were home schooled within the U.S., and graduated within the last five years, and
  • Your transcript shows at least a 3.0 cumulative grade point average (GPA)
    • Your transcript must show your name and all completed coursework to date, along with the name of your high school
    • We accept unofficial transcripts and images/screenshots from school portals, such as Skyward if you cannot access your transcript
    • Your document or transcript must be submitted in PDF format

Note: Students with at least a 2.5 GPA are placed into English 092/093

Use your high school transcript for math placement if:

  • You currently attend, or graduated from an accredited WA state high school within the last two years, and
  • Your completed math coursework meets the grade criteria as indicated in the Placement Grid below
    • Your transcript must show your name and all completed coursework to date, along with the name of your high school
    • We accept unofficial transcripts and images/screenshots from school portals, such as Skyward if you cannot access your transcript
    • Your document or transcript must be submitted in PDF format

Additional Option for Bellevue, Lake Washington and Snoqualmie Valley School Districts

These 3 districts work with the Bellevue College math department to create math placement agreements. To access this option, you must meet the following conditions:
